The curse of the kicker once again shredded the Vikings on Sunday as rookie Daniel Carlson missed all three of his field goal attempts and the Vikings wound up tying the Packers 29-29 at Lambeau Field.
Carlson missed from 48 yards late in the second quarter, from 49 yards with 7:36 left in overtime, and from 35 yards as time expired in overtime.

All three kicks were pushed wide right.
“We got to make the kicks, and we can’t have the [punt] blocked,” Everson Griffen said in an interview with KFAN. “For Him (Carlson), he’s got to believe in himself. I do and the team does, he’s just got to make those kicks.”
Remember, the Vikings used a fifth-round draft pick on Carlson and then picked him over veteran Kai Forbath during the preseason.
Kai Forbath should demand a 3-yr, $15 million contract (fully guaranteed) when Vikings call tonight.
