Patterson’s stock could rise well beyond the Vikings’ reach by draft night, but he’d be a good get for Minnesota, which needs to add more receiving weapons for young quarterback Christian Ponder,” Banks writes. “Patterson has the size and strength needed from today’s NFL receivers, and he can be used in a variety of ways to create matchup problems, including in the return game.”
