The Vikings opened mandatory mini-camp with the first of three practices on Tuesday.
Vikings.com’s Mike Wobschall writes that the following stood out to him.
- Defensive back Josh Robinson had a highlight reel interception
- Cornerbacks Chris Cook and Roderick Williams showed off their ball-hawking skills
- Wide receiver Adam Thielen of Minnesota State University had a standout day
- Tight end John Carlson of Litchfield, Minnesota continued to look good
Day 1 of mini-camp also featured the continued progress of linebacker Michael Mauti and wide receiver Greg Childs. According to the Pioneer Press, both are battling back from serious knee injuries and both participated during individual drills.
Days 2 and 3 of mini-camp will be held Wednesday and Thursday.
