Cornerback Akayleb Evans and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson have been ruled out for Sunday’s Vikings-Cowboys game in Minneapolis.
Evans, the rookie cornerback who started in place of the injured Cam Dantzler last week, suffered a concussion against the Bills. Tomlinson will miss his third straight game with a calf injury that he suffered against the Cardinals in Week 8.
But the player to really watch in the next 48 hours is linebacker Za’Darius Smith, whom the Vikings have listed as questionable because of a knee injury.
Wide receiver Justin Jefferson (toe) and left tackle Christian Darrisaw (concussion) are both good to for the game against Dallas. Jefferson was limited Wednesday but was back at full speed Thursday, while Darrisaw only missed practice Wednesday.
Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy hinted Friday that his roster will be mostly healthy, namely defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with feet and knee issues.
“I have all intention for him to play,” McCarthy said Friday.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is also expected back. It would be his first action since Oct. 23.
Official in/out designations will be made 90 minutes before Sunday’s 3:25 p.m. kickoff.
