Ninety minutes ahead of kickoff and the final injury reports and inactive lists have been released by the Vikings and Buccaneers.
The biggest loss for either team is Vikings outside linebacker Marcus Davenport, who was a surprise addition to the injury report this week and was listened as questionable ahead of the game. He’s officially inactive, with the Vikings activating outside linebacker Benton Whitley off the practice squad.
His absence means D.J. Wonnum and Patrick Jones II will get more work at outside linebacker.
Davenport was listed on the injury report with an ankle issue, though head coach Kevin O’Connell said Friday he was “optimistic” Davenport would be able to go.
The other Vikings inactives are third-string QB Jaren Hall, tight end Nick Muse, linebacker Andre Carter II, tackle David Quessenberry and defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy.
The Bucs have good news as Cody Mauch, the former North Dakota State standout offensive guard and defensive tackle Calijah Kancey are both active after being listed as questionable.
The inactive report from the Bucs includes running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn, cornerback Derrek Pitts, linebacker Markees Watts, offensive lineman Brandon Walton and tight end Payne Durham.
Overall, no big issues for the Bucs.
