The Vikings will be without quarterback Sam Bradford (knee) today as they take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

In his place will be veteran quarterback Case Keenum, who looked “more spry” than Bradford in pregame warmups, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Bradford, listed as questionable, went through a workout with the training staff a little more than two hours before the schedule noon kickoff, and that workout was very brief, according to multiple reports.
Bradford’s knee injury wasn’t cause for concern until ESPN reported Friday that the reigning NFC Offensive Player of the Week had an MRI on the knee earlier in the week. Hours later, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer briefed the media and said he “anticipates” Bradford would play.
The silver lining, perhaps, is that NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport has reported that Bradford’s ligaments are intact, meaning this could be a short-term issue for the Vikings.
In nine starts for the Rams last season, Keenum threw for 2,201 yards, 9 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Kyle Sloter, who was signed off the practice squad on Saturday, is available as the third quarterback today.
Other injuries
Cornerback Xavier Rhodes and linebacker Anthony Barr, both listed as questionable, will play.
