The odds to win the Super Bowl in 2015 are out and the Minnesota Vikings’ chances aren’t very good, according to the oddsmakers in Las Vegas.
According to Bovada, the Vikings have 75/1 odds to win the big game next season. Their odds are tied with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills for 31st in the National Football League – just ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who came in last with 100/1 odds.
The favorite to win it all? The Seattle Seahawks, who will take 9/2 odds into next season as the defending champions. San Francisco (15/2), Denver (8/1), New England (14/1) and Green Bay (16/1) round out the top five.
The Seahawks destroyed the Broncos, 43-8 in Super Bowl 48 Sunday night. The 35-point debacle ranks as the largest blowout by an underdog in Super Bowl history, according to Pro Football Talk.
The 49ers, Broncos, Patriots, Seahawks and Packers were the top five favorites to win the Super Bowl this season. Vegas was spot-on, with four of the five teams reaching conference championship games. The Vikings were in the middle of the pack with 50/1 odds entering the 2013 season.
