That didn’t take long.
Minutes after the Vikings agreed to terms with first-round draft choice Sharrif Floyd (23rd overall) Thursday morning, fellow first-rounders Xavier Rhodes (25th overall) and Cordarrelle Patterson also inked their rookie contracts. Here’s the video, via Vikings.com. Here are a few photos that showed up on Twitter earlier:

Floyd, a defensive tackle, was drafted out of Florida. During his three seasons as a Gator, he recorded 115 tackles and 4.5 sacks.
While at Florida State, cornerback Rhodes earned first-team All-ACC honors. Over three years, he compiled 140 tackles, eight interceptions and two sacks.
During his lone season at Tennessee, Patterson, a multi-purpose wideout, led the Southeastern Conference averaging 158.43 all-purpose yards per game. He caught passes for 778 yards and five touchdowns, rushed for 308 yards and the TD’s. He also averaged 25.3 yards per punt return and 26.8 yards per kick return.
In other words, he’s looked at as a player who just might make fans forget about the departed Percy Harvin.
