The newest member of the Minnesota Twins made a memorable Major League debut Wednesday night at Target Field. Eddie Rosario was facing Oakland lefty Scott Kazmir, when he went deep on the first pitch he saw.
Rosario became the sixth Twins player to homer in his first Major League at bat, but the first to do it on the first pitch he’s ever seen.

Rosario’s home run sparked a four run third inning, to get the Twins out to an early lead.
But one of the most special things about the moment, was Rosario’s family in town from Puerto Rico was able to see the homer in person.

Rosario started in right field on Wednesday night. He was called up earlier this week in place of Oswaldo Arcia who was placed on the 15 day disabled list.
