The Minnesota Twins have another prospect turning heads in the minor leagues. His name is Daniel Palka and he’s an outfielder, with power – and a lot of it.
After hitting the home run on Wednesday, Palka is now tied for the minor league lead with 25.

Palka was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the 19th round of the 2010 Amateur Draft, but he did not sign, instead choosing to play college baseball at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was then selected in the third round of the 2013 draft by Arizona.
The Twins acquired Palka in the trade that sent Chris Herrmann to Arizona during the offseason.
Palka is currently rated as the No. 27 prospect for the Twins, and he’s spent his time between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Rochester. Wednesday afternoon’s home run was fourth with the Red Wings.
