The talk of the town has been mostly about Miguel Sano’s amazing start to his career, but fellow Twins rookie Eddie Rosario is putting together a solid season of his own.
He added to his rookie campaign today when he took a Jeff Samardzija pitch for a long ride over the right-field wall into the upper deck for a grand slam. The shot gave the Twins an early 4-1 lead on the White Sox as they go for the series sweep.
Just 2 rookies since 2000 have hit at least 10 HR & 10 3B (Jimmy Rollins 2001 & Hanley Ramirez 2006), Eddie Rosario now has 9 HR & 10 3B.

Little did Rosario know at the time that Sano was kissing the future grand slam goodbye.
