The Twins’ Chris Parmelee did a fine job filling in for Justin Morneau at first base Wednesday night at Target Field. He even risked life and limb (well, maybe just limb) in a sweet foul-ball into-the-camera-well grab in the top of the eighth inning:
Afterwards, manager Ron Gardenhire assured reporters Parmelee was just fine.
“He bounced well,” Gardenhire deadpanned.
