Zach LaVine has put on a show in winning the last two NBA Slam Dunk contests, but he’ll be on a real TV show Wednesday night.
According to FOX Sports, LaVine will appear in a cameo role as himself on Disney’s “Kirby Buckets” Wednesday at 7 p.m. local time. You can get a sneak peek by watching the NBA tweet at the top of this story.
Here’s what the show is all about, according to IMDB.
“13-year-old Kirby Buckets, who dreams of becoming a famous animator like his idol Mac MacCallister. Kirby sees his drawings take shape as he and his best friends, Fish and Eli, go on outrageous and unpredictable adventures.”
FOX says the 13-year-old Buckets plays basketball and gets a pair of shoes from LaVine.
As for the show’s title, “Kirby Buckets,” there’s no apparent connection to Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame-er, Kirby Puckett.
