Minnesota Wild head coach Mike Yeo blew a gasket and stormed off the ice early at Wednesday’s morning skate, frustrations from a stretch of losing apparently boiling over when players weren’t practicing to his liking.
KSTP captured video of Yeo cursing out his team just moments after making them skate a quick sprint.

“We weren’t good enough and we’re not in a position where we can come in and be, let alone decent in practice, bad in practice,” Yeo said after practice, according to Wild.com. “I’m not going to accept that.”
“I think I made my point,” Yeo added.

“I think Yeozie lost it here,” Thomas Vanek told the Star Tribune. “He’s been pretty good with us, staying upbeat. We played well last night. It’s not good when you lose a hockey game. That was his message. He didn’t like how some of us practiced and came out, so those things happen.”
The Wild have lost eight of its past ten games, including a 4-3 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night.
Here’s a timeline of tweets that reporters covering the practice sent out during the meltdown.
Sounds like Minnesota is having the most memorable practice in recent memory.
