EDEN PRAIRIE — Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says Sunday’s game against St. Louis — and the final two games against Houston and Green Bay — will be a “defining moment” for quarterback Christian Ponder.
Frazier says Ponder has made progress this year, but “there’s still more progress to be made.”
Frazier also pointed out that when you have the NFL’s best running back in Adrian Peterson, you don’t lean on the passing game.
“Dropping back and throwing it 30 times” won’t happen, he said. “Our offense is going to revolve around No. 28, and there is no secret to that.”
