More bad news for the oft-injured Byron Buxton, who left Friday’s Twins-Rangers game in Texas after crashing into the center field wall in the bottom of the first inning.
He was carted off the field and he couldn’t put any weight on his right leg. Buxton hit the wall hard enough that the collision snapped his sunglasses in half.
UPDATE: The Twins say Buxton is day-to-day with a bruised knee. That’s about as much as anyone could have hoped for in this situation.

Oh no. Byron Buxton may have just seriously injured his leg crashing into the outfield wall. Tried to walk off the field and then collapsed.
