The Vikings report to training camp on Thursday, but on Wednesday rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was at Target Field taking in the Twins game.
Bridgewater threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and he didn’t exactly inspire Terry Ryan to offer him a contract to switch teams in downtown Minneapolis.
While Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner says Bridgewater can make all the throws he needs to on the football field, and he has shown an ability to make a full-court shot on a basketball court – using a football – Bridgewater didn’t quite have the same accuracy on the baseball diamond Wednesday.
