The 2013 Minnesota Wild season is underway, and hockey announced it’s return with two fights at Xcel Energy Center last night.
Surprisingly, neither of them involved Dustin Brown, who gave Jason Pominville a concussion with a high elbow the last time the two teams met.
While Head Coach Mike Yeo expressed his feelings about the Wild getting revenge on Brown before the game, in the end for hockey fans, it’s not really who was in the fight, it’s that they fought.
Here’s one of the two, with the Kings Colin Fraser boarding Wild defenseman Keith Ballard, and Ballard not taking too kindly to the hit-from-behind that resulted in a two minute minor for Fraser.
Breath it in, there’s plenty more where that came from.
