Have you ever wondered what it’s like to walk in Adrian Peterson’s shoes for a day?
It’s a lot of hard work in the gym, which is evident in the video released by Hyperice, a company Peterson recently teamed up with to promote a “ice compression device” he wore on his knee when recovering from a torn ACL in 2011. Hyperice is “a recovery technology company specializing in portable high performance sports medicine and orthopedic devices,” according to the company’s website.
Peterson, of course, recovered from his knee injury and rushed for 2,096 yards en route to being named NFL MVP in 2012.
“I’ve always been a competitor, and I feel like that’s made me who I am today,” Peterson says in the video.
“You’ll be amazed what your body can do when you push it,” he said. “That’s what I’ve been doing since a young age, just always challenging my body, pushing my body to the next level. Taking care of that body is very key, especially in this game of football.”
