The Minnesota Wild whipped the New Jersey Devils 6-2 Tuesday night at the Xcel Energy Center.
Thomas Vanek had a pair of goals, Jared Spurgeon had a goal and an assist and Zach Parise had two assists in the Wild victory.
Some of the new faces opened up the scoring for the Wild. Sean Bergenheim put the Wild on the scoreboard in the first with his ninth goal of the season, but his first with Minnesota. Chris Stewart pushed the lead to 2-0 early in the second.
Spurgeon pushed the Wild lead to 3-0 when he snuck one by New Jersey goaltender Cory Schneider.

Schneider was yanked after stopping just 25 of the 30 shots he faced on Tuesday night.
Devan Dubnyk, meanwhile, continued to shine in net for the Wild. In his 26th consecutive start, Dubnyk stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced.
The Wild host the Ducks on Friday.
