That’s how the LCS Auction recommends Vikings fans use the Metrodome’s much-discussed stainless-steel urinals.
The auction website says the condition of the troughs, which range in length from 8 to 12 feet, vary – some have dents and dings after removing them from the Dome.
Online bidding, which is done through the website k-bid.com, started as low as $5, but as of 12 p.m. Thursday, bidding ranged from $64 to $100.
The auction is open until 6 p.m. Thursday.
Safe to say, this is one of the most unique items that’s been auctioned off since the stadium was demolished and the last of its rubble was hauled away. The Dome’s blue seats, its roof, the pitcher’s mound and the turf have all been sold or recycled.
This isn’t the first time urinals from a stadium have been sold to the highest bidder. A group of St. Louis urologists paid $2,173.82 for urinals from the old Busch Stadium.
