At 38-0-0, the Golden Gophers women’s hockey team is just three wins from finishing a perfect season and winning a second straight national championship. A win over North Dakota on Saturday at Ridder Arena in the NCAA quarterfinals will put the Gophers into the Frozen Four.

Frost tells the Pioneer Press that sophomore Amanda Kessel will skip her junior season and play for the U.S. Women’s Olympic team. Kessel has a mind-boggling 175 points since the start of last season.
