The Gophers women’s basketball team released its full non-conference schedule under new head coach Dawn Plitzuweit.
Minnesota basketball fans will be looking forward to the Nov. 19 game against former Hopkins star Paige Bueckers’ UConn Huskies at Williams Arena. Bueckers is scheduled to be back from the ACL injury that kept her out of the bulk of her junior season last year. The game will mark the fourth time the teams have met.
The first time Gophers fans can see Plitzuweit’s side will be Nov. 8 when the Gophers host Long Island State. North Dakota State comes to The Barn Nov. 15.
The Gophers will host reigning MAEC Conference champion Norfolk State on Nov. 29, followed by the lone non-conference road game Dec. 6 when they visit Kentucky.
