The Timberwolves have recalled Tyus Jones from the Developmental League.
The former Minnesota Mr. Basketball and Apple Valley native averaged 24.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5 assists while shooting 42.6 percent from three in six games in the D-League. He played for the Idaho Stampede.
No word on if he’ll get any playing time with the Wolves. He’s played in just two games as a rookie and was behind Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine and Andre Miller on the depth chart.
Minnesota is back on the court Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs.
