Poor Tyus Jones.
The Apple Valley senior point guard has done nothing wrong, yet his every move is scrutinized.
His only crime is being born in a state that has a terrible Division I basketball school, and despite everyone turning blame on him for not automatically wanting to go to that subpar basketball school, there’s nothing he can do about the mediocrity that is Gopher Basketball. It’s his future we’re talking about people, naturally he wants to be somewhere non-bad.
So, Gopher faithful sit, watch, and wait, as Jones goes off to yet another official visit this weekend that is not to the University of Minnesota.
