Apple Valley’s Tyus Jones says the Minnesota Gophers are still on his list when it comes to his college basketball career.
Jones, interviewed by WCCO-TV, says hiring Richard Pitino was “a good fit” for the Gophers basketball program.
Whether that means Jones will lace up his sneakers at Williams Arena remains to be seen. He’s also considering Baylor, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Ohio State and Michigan State.
Last month, the junior point guard led Apple Valley to the 4A championship over Park Center.
