TwinsFest, the annual winter event where the Twins preview the upcoming season, is moving to Target Field for 2014.
Twins president Dave St. Peter says the event will be held from Jan. 24-26 next year, moving from Mall of America Field to the Twins’ ballpark.
In a news release, St. Peter says this will give the franchise a chance to “reinvent” the event, but in a more intimate setting.
TwinsFest has been at the Metrodome for many of its 25 years, but with that building being torn down for a new Vikings stadium, the Twins had to make a move.
