The 2014 Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan is underway with a group of players, past and present, along with media members patrolling Minnesota, Iowa and North Dakota between now and Jan. 23.
The Winter Caravan started with a radio interview with BMTN’s Eric Perkins, who wakes up bright and early Monday-Friday to host the morning show on 96.3 K-TWIN – the radio home of Twins baseball.

Former Twins Paul Molitor and Tony Oliva are on the trip with current pitchers Brian Duensing, Ryan Pressly and Caleb Thielbar. Twins television play-by-play voice Dick Bremer and radio voices Dan Gladden and Corey Provus are also along for the ride, which will make stops in five cities on Monday.
Molitor, Bremer, Duensing and Pressley will follow this plan when making stops in Iowa Falls and Mason City, Iowa.

11:30 a.m. – Public stop in Iowa Falls at Dale Howard Inc.

The Winter Caravan will lead fans to TwinsFest at Target Field, which begins Jan. 24 – the same day tickets to the 2014 Home Opener against the Oakland Athletics go on sale.
