Michael A. Taylor provided the go-ahead hit twice Tuesday night, the second being a bunt in the bottom of the 10th that led to a wild throw that allowed Willi Castro to score the winning run in a 4-3 victory for the Twins over the White Sox.
Pablo Lopez gave up two runs in his first 15 pitches but then set down the next 23 White Sox batters in his Target Field debut. Jhoan Duran blew the save by giving up a home run to Luis Robert Jr. on the first pitch of the ninth inning, but otherwise struck out side.
Byron Buxton connected on a two-run home run in the bottom of the first to equal the score right away, followed by Taylor taking Lance Lynn deep for his first Twins home run and the Twins the lead in the second.
