The Twins beat the New York Yankees on Friday night to open up a weekend series in the Bronx with a 6-1 win.
For a team that has struggled against the Yankees in recent years, the Twins have had some recent success at Yankee Stadium.

Ricky Nolasco pitched through some trouble to hold the Yankees to one run in six innings. He picked up the win. Nolasco scattered seven hits and pitched around four walks, while striking out three.
Caleb Thielbar, Casey Fien and Glenn Perkins did their job with three scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
The Yankees stranded nine runners on base in the game.
Josh Willingham homered for the second straight day, while Oswaldo Arcia and Trevor Plouffe also went deep.
Plouffe was moved back to the sixth spot in the order for the Twins as manager Ron Gardenhire shook things up for a team that had lost six of seven prior to the series.
Arcia and Kurt Suzuki led the Twins offensively, they were 2 for 4.
Minnesota is now two games below .500. The series continues tomorrow afternoon from Yankee Stadium.
