The new-look Twins will look to starting pitcher Kevin Correia on Wednesday against the Tigers.
Game two of the season will be played in warmer weather than the near-freezing temperatures of Monday’s season opening loss to Detroit.
Correia joked with the Pioneer Press that he’ll “probably just walk around a couple blocks with my shirt off” to get ready for his first start in the state of Minnesota.
No worries, Kevin. The temperature throughout Wednesday’s game should be around 50 degrees.
Rookie centerfielder Aaron Hicks is hoping his second big league game goes better than his first, where he struck out three times in four at-bats.
