Looks like Twins third baseman Trevor Plouffe will make his Grapefruit League debut Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Dunedin, Florida.
The Pioneer Press quotes General Manager Terry Ryan, who said Plouffe is coming back after suffering with a right calf issue that has limited him for much of spring training.
Manager Ron Gardenhire had mentioned the possibility of having Plouffe play in today’s spring training game against Tampa Bay, but trainers decided to give him another couple of days to continue his recovery.
