If you were among the handful of people still holding out hope for the Twins this season, well, we’ve got bad news.
For the second game in a row, the Twins lost in the Cleveland Indians in walk-off fashion. On Wednesday night it was Francisco Lindor’s 3-run homer to win it in the bottom of the ninth, and on Thursday the Indians sent Minnesota packing on Michael Brantley’s RBI single in the bottom of the ninth.
Minnesota has been on the wrong end of 12 walk-offs, just two shy of the franchise record of 14 set back in 1964.

Honestly, the only other piece of information worth knowing from the game is that Jorge Polanco hit a 3-run homer to tie the score 4-4 in the sixth inning.
Other than that, the Twins are now 11 games behind the Indians in the AL Central.
