The Twins have reportedly signed first baseman Jeff Clement to a minor league contract, according to a tweet by MLB.com’s Rhett Bollinger:

Clementhit .276 with Pittsburgh’s Triple A club last summer, with 16 homers.
The Marshalltown, Iowa, native has spent time in the majors with the Pirates and the Seattle Mariners. He’s 29-years-old.
