The Minnesota Twins can not solve the Tampa Bay Rays, the Twins lost again on Saturday night 7-0. It was the 11th straight time that Tampa Bay has beaten Minnesota.
The game was really defined by an over two hour rain delay in the fourth inning, that ruined what had been a strong start from Rays pitcher Matt Moore. Moore held the Twins to no runs and one hit in his three innings of work before the rains came.
Brandon Gomes picked up the win for the Rays in relief.
Andrew Albers started for Minnesota, he gave up four earned runs in four innings of work.
There were very few offensive highlights for the Twins again, as they were held to four hits.
Minnesota has not scored a run on the Rays through two games in this series.
