Fresh off the sewing machine, the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday unveiled an alternate uniform style that they’ll wear on occasion during the upcoming 2019 season.
These fresh uniforms, which you can see in 3D or 360-degree mode below, are navy blue with scarlet red lettering and that yellowy trim the Twins call “MN Kasota Gold.”
But here’s the catch. The Twins say these new blue uniforms will replace the cream-colored digs that they introduced in 2010.
Nothing but love for the creams . . . but yes, we are saying goodbye! pic.twitter.com/GpUcTnczc3

That tweet is starting to rack up replies and all of them at the time this story was published disagreed with the decision to dump the creams.
Let’s hope these alternate uniforms lead to better results than the 1997 “Dairy Queen jerseys” that they wore twice before essentially throwing in the garbage.
Here’s a cool infographic the Twins made when they unveiled their current uniform styles in 2015.
