Twins slugger Miguel Sano has been reinstated from the disabled list after missing more than a month due to a stress reaction.

Sano is not in the starting lineup for Friday’s tilt, but he’s available off the bench and could serve a designated hitter later this weekend.
With the big bopper back on the roster, he’ll also be able to help the team in the American League Wild Card game next week too.

Despite Sano’s injury, the Twins offense hasn’t skipped a beat and Minnesota clinched a playoff spot earlier this week.
Minnesota will play either the New York Yankees or the Boston Red Sox next Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the rights to go to the American League Divisional Series.
