Minnesota was outscored 39-14 in the four-game series. That’s an average of nearly 10 runs allowed per game.
Cole De Vries start for the Twins. The right-hander from Eden Prairie allowed six runs on four hits and three walks in two innings.
Oswaldo Arcia had a career day for the Twins. He went 3-for-4 at the plate with six RBI. He singled twice and launched his 14th home run of the season.
The Twins wrap up the season at Target Field this week with a three-game series against Detroit and a four-game set with the Indians.
