Brent Rooker’s amazing hitting skills were again on display Friday night as he hit a walk-off grand slam to give the Chattanooga Lookouts a 6-2 win over the Jackson Generals.
Video of him hitting the grand slam doesn’t appear to exist, although the Lookouts did get video of his rounding third base and getting a Gatorade bath at home plate.

His 2018 season at Class AA Chattanooga hasn’t been great – hitting .222 with 2 home runs and 11 RBI in 31 games – but he’s got the potential to turn it around in a hurry.
“We like his power potential, obviously,” scouting director Sean Johnson told Fox Sports North after the Twins drafted Rooker 35th overall in 2017. “We thought he had one of the best bats left on the board, and we’re glad we got him.”
Twins Daily’s preseason projection for Rooker hinted at the possibility of him reaching the majors as early as 2019.
