Twins’ prospect Alex Meyer OK after hit by ball

A bit of a scare for Twins pitching prospect Alex Meyer today.

He was hit on the forearm by a one-hop smash off the bat of Clete Thomas.

Luckily it was his left arm — not his pitching arm.

The Pioneer Press reports Meyer had a big welt, but was otherwise OK.
