On Tuesday, Nick Nelson of Twins Daily wrote that right-hander J.R. Graham was a likely choice over Thielbar for the final spot in the bullpen.
The Twins swiped Graham from the Atlanta Braves in the Rule 5 Draft last year. FanSided called him the “power arm” the Twins have been looking for. His fastball has been clocked in the mid-90s all spring, and he has a nasty slider to boot.
With Thielbar optioned to AAA, bullpen will be Glen Perkins, Casey Fien, Brian Duensing, JR Graham, Blaine Boyer, Mike Pelfrey, Tim Stauffer

Over past two seasons with Twins, Thielbar posted 2.59 ERA & 1.12 WHIP, held LHB to 638 OPS. I thought he was close to a lock.
