All 20,000 of the $5 tickets are sold out, so the Twins have expanded the $5 offer to get fans “ballpark access” through 10 p.m. Thursday. Ballpark access means you can get into the game for $5, but you don’t get a seat.

Trying to fill seats that have been commonly empty at Target Field this season, the Twins unveiled a deal that can get fans into games for just $5 the rest of May.
Do know that this is a flash sale, only good through 10 p.m. Thursday. So fans have until then to take advance of the $5 offer, which does not include any of those annoying processing fees that jack up the price.
Tickets don’t come with typical processing fees, so the $5 flat rate is available through 10 p.m. Thursday. You choose from any of their 12 remaining home games in May.
- May 10-12 vs. Detroit Tigers (doubleheader on May 11)
- May 13-15 vs. Los Angeles Angels
- May 24-26 vs. Chicago White Sox
- May 27-28 vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Five bucks to go see Mike Trout and the Angels or Christian Yelich and the Brewers? That’s a solid deal.
“As we look to continue building upon baseball’s second-best record, which includes 11 home wins, we’re happy to offer fans another way to come to Target Field and help restore home field advantage for their American League Central-leading Twins,” said President and CEO Dave St. Peter in a release.
Minnesota is 22-12 and has a four-game lead in the division. The only team with a better record than the Twins is Tampa Bay (23-12).
Despite the winning, the average announced attendance at Twins home games this season ranks 23rd in Major League Baseball.
