For the Twins, Pedro Hernandez (1-0, 5.96 ERA) might be pitching to keep his spot in the rotation. In his last start, Hernandez was clobbered by Boston, giving up six runs through two innings. Despite Chicago’s 15-20 record, White Sox pitchers are second in the American League with a combined 3.30 ERA. Minnesota’s staff ranks 11th, with a 4.25 combined ERA.
