It was expected to happen this weekend and it has, the Minnesota Twins have agreed to terms with Royce Lewis, whom they selected with the no. 1 overall pick in last week’s MLB Draft.

According to FanRag’s Jon Heyman, Lewis passed his physical and signed a deal that will pay him about $6.7 million.
The Twins signed their second draft pick, first baseman Brett Rooker, on Saturday. Lewis and Rooker were the premiere picks that helped Minnesota to the best draft in the big leagues, according to MLB.com.
