The Twins game at Cleveland has been postponed for Wednesday night due to inclement weather.
The Twins said with an ominous weather system headed for Cleveland, the umpiring crew at Progressive Field wasted little time in making the decision to postpone the game.
According to FOX Sports North, it will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader on Thursday. The first game will start at 11:05 a.m. central, the second game will start after a 30-minute break.
It will shuffle the starting pitchers a little.
Indians right-hander Corey Kluber will now get the start in the first game against Twins righty Kyle Gibson. While T.J. House will start the second game for Cleveland against Ricky Nolasco.
Originally Gibson was slated to go up against House on Wednesday night.
The Twins took the series opener on Tuesday night 4-3, thanks to a four-run fourth inning.
It will be the first traditional doubleheader for the Twins this year. They have played three day-night doubleheaders this season, most recently on Aug. 23 against Detroit.
