The Minnesota Twins beat the Tampa Bay Rays and lost to the Boston Red Sox in spring training split squad games on Sunday.
Francisco Liriano pitched two scoreless innings in an 8-3 loss to Boston. He allowed one hit, one walk and finished with one strikeout. Ben Revere drove in two runs for the Twins.
Meanwhile, Alexi Casilla collected three hits in the Twins’ 5-3 win over Tampa Bay.
