The Twins may be turning things around, as a 4-1 victory Sunday marked a series win over the Cleveland Indians. Minnesota took the series two games to one, with a win Saturday and loss Friday.
It’s the first time the Twins have had consecutive wins in more than a month, the Pioneer Press reports.

Tommy Milone was back on the mound; it was his first start since July 31, after spending 15 days on the disabled list with an elbow strain, the Associated Press reports.
Milone lasted five innings and was limited to 76 pitches. He allowed one run on three hits, and struck out three.
The bullpen threw four shutout innings to seal with win, MLB.com reports.
Kurt Suzuki had two RBIs, and Trevor Plouffe added a home run in the eighth inning – his 17th of the season.

The Twins are 59-58, still holding in second place in the AL Central. They’re within two games of regaining the wild card playoff spot they’d held for weeks earlier in the season.
The Twins head to New York Monday to play the Yankees in the first of a three-game series. The game starts at 6:10 p.m.
Kyle Gibson will start for the Twins. He is 1-3 in his four career starts against the Yankees with a 10.70 ERA, MLB reports.
