Paul Molitor will be sticking around as the Twins’ skipper for the next three seasons.
Molitor and the Twins agreed on a three-year contract extension Monday.

Under the guidance of Molitor, the Twins returned to the postseason in 2017 for the first time since 2010.
There’s a chance Molitor could even be named American League Manager of the Year, considering Minnesota’s turnaround from a year ago when the club lost 103 games.
The 2017 season was the final year of a three-year contract Molitor signed before 2015.
After the Twins lost in the American League Wild Card Game, second baseman Brian Dozier said, “I speak for everybody else in here, we hope he’s back.”
The St. Paul native has compiled a record of 227-259 in his three seasons as manager.
