Right-hander Esmerling Vasquez will make his second career start with the Twins when he heads to the hill for Game 3 of a four-game series against Cleveland at Target Field Sunday afternoon.
Cleveland will counter with Corey Kluber, who picked up his first win of the year last Monday.
The last place Minnesota Twins are going for their second straight victory after shutting down the Indians Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Denard Span could rejoin the team as early as Wednesday, MLB.com reports. The Twins center fielder has been on the 15-day disabled list since Aug. 28 with a strained shoulder.
