Tuesday was the MLB deadline to add players to 40-man rosters, and the Twins added eight players to the roster, including former first-round picks Kyle Gibson and Aaron Hicks. Both players will be invited to spring training.
The Twins are starting their spring training games a bit earlier in 2013. The opener is set for February 23rd against Baltimore. It’s a early start — in part — because of the World Baseball Classic being played during camp. The Twins start the regular season April 1st, hosting Detroit.
